element we need to live, to survive? no, i don't think so. after pushing my

Mayday Mayday!! My attitude is gaining altitude.

philostrophy of si panjang:
attitude gaining altitude means your attitude is ascending...means going up.
going up...means u have a higher attitude in turn means u have a big attitude.
which means to say u have a big attitude problem and u are crashing.......

Anak/Child - Freddie Aguilar

i found one of my favorite songs. the original
song was written in Tagalog. i had the CD for
a while. actually, i borrowed from a co-worker.
here is the lyric. to me, it's best played with a
acoustic guitar...... enjoy!!

Anak/Child - Freddie Aguilar
=================
When you were born into this world
Your mom and dad saw a dream fulfilled
Dream come true
The answer to their prayers

You were to them a special child
Gave 'em joy every time you smiled
Each time you cried
They're at your side to care

Child, you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through and God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you here

How many seasons came and went
So many years have now been spent
For time ran fast
And now at last you're strong

Now what has gotten over you
You seem to hate your parents too
Do speak out your mind
Why do you find them wrong

Child you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through and God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you near

And now your path has gone astray
Child you ain't sure what to do or say
You're so alone
No friends are on your side

And child you now break down in tears
Let them drive away your fears
Where must you go
Their arms stay open wide

Child you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through
And God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you here

Child you don't know
You'll never know how far they'd go
To give you all their love can give
To see you through and God it's true
They'd die for you, if they must, to see you here

random thoughts.....

u can't teach an old dog new tricks.
u can't teach an old mouse new clicks.

pull in once, fill in twice.

sunny sat. too sunny for her, for her car to break down. ouch!!

we drove to pasadena on sat to visit my sister for her sister-in-law's
farewell party. We used the freeway5 and her car broke down along the way.
We were at the city of la mirada then. We managed to drove to the nearest Lowe's which is 1/2mile away and started making phone calls.

both of us called AAA since her membership is with AZ and mine is
with SoCal(Southern California). my line got to them first. i talked to them
and later, i was put on hold. i didn't want to hold my phone on my ear for
don't know how long and then i switched to speaker phone. bad move!!
when AAA got back, i could not turn off the feature. it was annoying!!
everyone could hear the conversation. yeah, i got a new toy, a new
verizon samsung phone, loaded with features and now, they are abusing
me. sob...sob.....

later.......

they came and towed her car to the nearest mechanic. AAA tow truck
dropped us off at the enterprise rental car office but it was closed. i told the
truck driver that we could call them later and they will send someone to get
us. enterprise will come and get u, that's the best part in their rental car
business. he left. BAD MOVE!!

we walked a little and we called them. they said they could only come
and get us in 2hrs. what??? the other alternative was, us going to the
nearest airport, which is john wayne airport to get a rental car. no!!!!!!
it's not going to work. we walked around and we managed to find one
rental car company, rent4less. by then, we were toasted under the sun.
it was like the warmest saturday in los angeles. i felt i was in tucson.
sweating!! faces getting red.... anyway, we got to the office and they
told us, 'we don't have any more cars.' what?????

on that particular minute, a car pulled over the office and the sales
rep told us, 'we have 1 car.' it was ...... absolutely stunning!! we have a
rental car!! we picked the car and headed to pasadena......and it
was really warm. it was real warm....

we got back to san diego that day and later this afternoon, we will pick up
her car. carol, we could have call u but, how are we going back to san diego
and how are we going back there to get her car. i figure out that it will not really help so i did not call u. PTL.

oof.....

i observed that there are just too many single guys out
there in Southern California. it is so obvious that there
is this DESPERADO printed on their foreheads in
Times New Roman 72 Bold; the way they talk, the way they
squeezed their brains out TRYing to impress and to
convince the ladies out there that they need u.

Wake up Wussbags!!

when i say single guys out there, this excludes those who are
dating. what i am saying is single men out there who are in
search for their soul-mate. sorry!! i've found mine......

check out this converstion.
man: hi, my name is butt.
woman: hi, my name is goaway.
man: what do u do?
woman: i work as a social worker for a non-profit organization
helping single mums cope with their trouble kids.
man: that's interesting. i am a pilot instructor for this
GoFlyKite Flying School down at Oceanside. i have clocked
3000hrs of flight and my clients are from VPs to CEOs. why
don't u go with me for a special flying.......what do u say??
woman: let me repeat, my name is goaway.

all about San Diego CA.

http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bplive/2006/snapshots/PL0666000.html

friday friday friday.

F finally saw her car last weekend. Her car was in the ICU.
the original plan was for me to drive my car to tucson and,
coming back to san diego with her car. that did not happen
since her car was not feeling too good and she decided to
leave it at the workshop in tucson. it's good that she did that
since it is a bad idea to be stranded in the middle of the
desert in the month of july.

finally on last friday, i flew in to tucson and we planned to
drive back to san diego in her car with the rest of her stuff.
i left my office on friday at 5.20pm and it took me 1 hr to
get to the airport. traffic was bad esp on a friday evening.
ok....by the time i got to the terminal, it was 6.30pm and
my departure was 8pm. hmm...pretty good timing this time;
no rush, no hassle and lots of time to kill.

at 7pm, the departure time was set to 8.15pm. this is the last
flight of the day and usually, they get delayed. fine......at 7.15pm,
the departure time was readjusted to 8.30pm. i have more and
more time to kill. that's no good.

at 7.30pm, the departure time is now 8.45pm. wow!! i have never
experienced this much of a delay with southwest airlines. they are
the best low-cost carrier in the US and thru the 9/11 incident,
southwest airlines continues to make profit when all other airlines
lost money and filed bankruptcy. i forgive them!!

my flight finally took off at 9pm.

as we approached tucson, the pilot said it was a heavy downpour.
the plane tried to kill some time since we are not allowed to
land. by then it was 10pm.

at 10.15pm, the pilot said we have to go to phoenix to get some
fuel since the rain is still very bad in tucson. yeah, the summer
monsoon.

all of us we unhappy and we started to make some noise. well,
there is nothing all of us could do since landing is prohibited
and it's dangerous.

we touched down phoenix and it was 10.30pm. we cannot leave
the plane and all we did was, wait. it was annoying!! kids were
making a lot of noise and people talking, it was just .... noisy!!

we managed to depart at 11pm and by the time we touched down
in tucson, it was 11.40pm. i was tired, hungry and moody. my last
meal was 1pm. i had pho and some peanuts and some milk and some
apple juice and that's it.

nevertheless, i was glad that everyone arrived safely.

****
the crew at southwest airlines are just cool and fun. most of the
time, the crew will crack jokes and making everyone enjoy
themselves. here is one of the lines from them and i find it
very hilarious.

marry one of us and u fly for free.

the ticker symbol of southwest airlines is LUV at the NYSE.

final words on the 2006 FIFA world cup.

people asked me why i did not have any more blog about
the FIFA world cup. here's the story. i am a great german
fan since Mexico86 and this yr, i got the jersey. this yr, the
feeling is different since i am a more fan of germany because
of my jersey. i got the jersey a week before the 1st game and
i wore it, and germany won over costa rica. every game that
the germans play, i wore my jersey. it was disappointing that
germany lost to italy in the semi-finals, aka Final Four.

i turned to italy and to the finals, it was a so-so game since
they need to have the penalty kick. everyone played well in the
finals except the dumb ZZ. he did the dumbest thing in his career.
he got a red card and was sent off because that smart*ss
head butt an italian player. ZZ could have just ignored whatever
the italian said to him. how foolish of him to react to what that jerk
has to say.

in summary, i enjoyed all the games until the germs lost. i am glad
the italians won the cup and ZZ was sent off. after the game, we wanted
to drive to little italy in downtown san diego to see if the restaurants
will give a deep discount on their menu. neh....were lazy to go there.

Do your best and the Lord will do the rest.

U are studying hard at your desk,
for tomorrow is your final test.
Do your best and the Lord will do the rest.

When u have unexpected guest,
headaches u have they are like pest.
Do your best and the Lord will do the rest.

Bugging u is a huge bird nest,
nestling on your window west.
Do your best and the Lord will do the rest.

There u are with no time to rest,
everyone's telling u to give it the best.
Do your best and the Lord will do the rest.

a thousand miles.

Yup.....she catapulted from Tucson to San Diego and she
arrived safely, not a scratch not a bruise not a pain managed
to have a close encounter with her silky smooth sassy sexy epidermis.

Left my office and headed to Tucson. I was glad I beat the traffic.
things can be really bad over here esp during a long weekend.
upon arrival, we headed for all u can eat sushi. i think that was
a bad move since i was stuck in the drivers seat for the last 6hrs and
immediately, pounding and loading my stomach with raw fish, seaweed,
cavier, and raw pigeon egg and lots of rice. nevertheless, it was an
awesome dinner. i ate too much and i have to tell u, i surrendered, raised
my white flag and dashed out to take a stroll. thank-goodness i did not
puke. it was tuff eating like a glutton....... :(

later, helped her to do some clean-up and i don't believe that the
townhouse was absolutely clean. i mean, it was a mess everytime i
go there. i have to say this, and kudos to all of you. the gang helped
to jam packed the car. the next morning, we continued to clean-up
and packed more stuff into my car. it was full load!! i don't believe
my car is roomy to take everything in, well, almost everything.

went for lunch and of course, i still feel the cavier in the stomach cooking
in the acid and the raw fish breaking down in my duodenum by the enzims
and most of the rice are on its way out. i did not eat a lot, besides, i have
another 6hrs to drive.

well, back on the road again. the sand dunes after yuma are just awesome.
to me, i think it's a replica of the sahara desert. only sand and nothing else.
that's where they shot the movie, Stargate. we safely arrived at san diego
on sat evening. had a good dinner at 168, beef noodle soup taiwanese style
and singapore fried vermicelli.

i helped her to unload and within a couple of minutes, i was soaked wet
due to the humidity and the apartment was at the 2nd floor. we were so
exhausted that we decided to continue to unload the remaining half load
the next morning.

the san diego sunday sun came out and we unloaded the remains of her stuff
after having a good brunch at the dimsum restaurant. yum yum....it was good.
when everything has been taken care off, we headed to pasadena for an
earlier BBQ. we came back to san diego later.

ha....for the last 3 days, my car clocked another thousand miles.
way to go honda arigato!!
