thanks-giving is on thu.... so fast.
this year it's different since my sister will be in new york. she asked me
to come along to visit her sister-in-law. well, i didn't go since she has
3 kids and the sister-in-law has 10. i just don't think this trip will be
fun esp for young folks. it's just too noisy and 13kids....u gotto be kidding.
with all the yelling, crying, fighting, i will go insane in 2 minutes.
well, everytime during thank-giving, my sister and oscar will cook the
turkey. to me, i didn't really like turkey. i just felt that the meat is too
plain. i am not complaining about her cooking, it's just too plain and too
much calories. on the other hand, the honey baked ham, is hamtastic.
this is the best ham u can get. yes, the store that sells it is called,
the honey baked ham company. i just felt that during thanks-giving,
people are making excuses to eat much more meat and carbs than usual.
oh yes, not forgetting the mashed potato. the gravy of course, comes from
the juice of the 15-20pound turkey being roasted for 5-6 hrs.
we need more vegetables during thanks-giving. more tofu, more greens
not some salad ok, cooked vegetables, and where is the seafood??
oh well, last but not least, the wine and desserts makes it up with
pumpkin pie, tarts, ice-cream and zinfandels.
happy thanks-giving.
